Any previous PM, I would have read the article. With Starmer, I really don't need to know. I haven't clicked on the article.
Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss, Sunak: in each case, the question would be interesting, in one way or another. Will they look for a position with behind-the-scenes string-pulling power? Make the big money? Write books? Become a vampyre? Will anyone want to take them?
With Starmer, I don't want to ask, and I will not listen to any answers. He'll find something well paid, no doubt; and he won't trouble live politics again. All good.
