Shopify's getting bolder by the day with their "Shop account" bullshit. It used to be a sneaky opt-out button, then a sneakier opt-out button, and now it's "if you type your mobile number here we'll take it as consent to create an account in your name". I very nearly typed my number in here just so the vendor had it in case of an issue with the order, but no - I don't want this as a side effect.
