We have increased the file size limit for send.trom.tf/ from 3GB to 5GB. Compare with the very popular WeTransfer and we offer 3 times more storage. Plus we can store all files up to a week. On top of this all files are encrypted, and you can send an email with the files from our server directly, to anyone. You can combine multiple files into one archive and even password protect them.

Oh, and of course, our TROM Send is trade-free. We do not want anything in return: not your currency, not your data, not your attention. WeTransfer wants all of those in return for a lesser service.

Our monthly budged updated. We now have around 2.100 Euros in total. This is meant to keep all of the TROM projects alive and relevant. Some 30 websites or so. See tromsite.com/tools/ . It is of course not enough. TROM II documentary has stalled now, because of lack of funding. We, the ones behind TROM, are trying to work (trade) to make some money to support this project and continue the TROM II documentary. Unfortunately it is extremely difficult.

Our TROM.tf server's diskspace is getting kinda full. We have a ton of services so this is to be expected. We are trying to be more restrictive with our Peertube instance so that we may be able to remove more content that does not fit the thematic. When we reach 80% diskspace full we will need to do something about it.

We can migrate our Peertube storage to an object storage. Maybe we will do a campaign to raise the funds for that. May be as low as 250 Euros for a year of 2TB storage. That is twice as much as we have for Peertube right now. And we can free up some space on the server for Nextcloud and other services. Right now Peertube takes up about 70% of the storage on the server.

Never forget this: you can be the most skilled human in the world, the smartest, the kindest. But if you do not trade your skills and qualities, from this trade-based society's perspective, you are as good as dead. The best surgeon, the best painter, the best electrician, doctor, programmer, scientist...will die in this society if he/she does not trade their skills for needs/wants.

Never ever forget that.

We will work again on the documentary once we have enough financial stability to do so. This trade-based society kicks everyone in the balls on a constant basis. TROM was able to withstand it since 2011. Active, updated, relevant, engaged. These are difficult time but we are not giving up! We need to tell the world that trade is the origin of most problems and to motivate them to do trade-free goods/services. We are starting a movement that has no leader, and is attached to no project. But it needs time and we are the pioneers of it, so for us it will be the harshest.
