I used to make websites since early 2000 and yah I noticed this change. Websites nowadays are a piece of shit. Full of ads, full of click here, see this, infinite scroll, and all that. Our trade-based society changes websites, products, services, wishes, and minds altogether. There is no escape... #tromlive

some preemptive user strikes remains possible by using RSS feeds instead of site browsing and tools like...

I for sure use these and more... but for some websites the RSS is not provided in full, and for some the Firefox reader mode may not work very well. Still, very useful tools!

been loving tools like that on and off but still fall into the deep end at times

have learned it really has to start somewhere else to be truly effective

have to tell myself to take good care of my mental bandwidth before even opening a browser
