Our Peertube instance (the youtube trade-free alternative) supports automatic video imports https://videos.trom.tf - meaning you can select your youtube, vimeo and so forth channels, and it will auto-sync with your peertube. The video, description, tags, and so forth will be auto-uploaded. How awesome!

We've also limited the resolution to Full HD as maximum. Everything else makes little to no sense and it is usually an overkill unless you have a huge screen that supports 2k or 4k native resolutions. We are also limited in terms of disk space...so it makes no sense to allow 3 minute 4k uploads that are 1GB. That's insanity.
