I opened a new chat and asked "what is TROM" - here is the answer:

TROM stands for The Reality of Me, which is a personal growth and self-awareness program created by L. Ron Hubbard. It aims to help individuals understand their own thoughts, emotions, and experiences to achieve greater happiness and success in life.

I'm dying hahahhahaaha.

That guy founded the Church of Scientology hahahah

My God and people think this chat is revolutionary. It is like a salesperson, blabbing in a way that makes people impressed, and yet it is deceiving as fuck.

It is good with words tho, I'll give it that.

Maybe I'll try out this chatGPT someday, I've heard good things about it. The thing is, AIs are never good at obscure questions that require some digging around to find out, so the fact that it presents you wrong information with such confidence and assurance is very concerning. I think this situation could be improved a lot by just showing us the sources where the AI got that info from, and maybe also a confidence level showing how sure the AI is of the accuracy of that info.

You can try perplexity.ai as a better alternative to ChatGPT, it cites all the sources used.

It is not even accepting a true answer hahahaha

This one seems very stubborn. haha

You have the Innacurate button for each Perplexity.ai answer and then you can send the right answer to its database...

@alexio TBH, I think this answer is much better than the last one, at least it didn't say TROMjaro is a distro for advanced users and that it has Tor browser and stuff like that. It mentioned the trade-free concept and also the fact that we do backups before important updates. Now, I know some of these AIs are trained on old data like from 2020 or something, so maybe that's why it says TROMjaro is still in development 'cause at the time we were probably testing TROMjaro XFCE beta 🤔

still, very deceiving....if i wasnt behind tromjaro i would have thought very differently. in any case if they can be so wrong it makes them kinda useless for now.

a little confused about TROM and Odysee, I think. As @cwebber put it, it's automated mansplaining. Of course mansplainers would be all excited and threatened by it

Kinda badly confused 😁 - if it does that even 2 out of 10 times, then it kinda ruins the idea behind this bot entirely. You simply cannot trust it. At least if it provided some sources.
