Fantastic talk 🙏 Glad that I am not the only one who senses that the LLM, aside of all hype, is just super ineffective way of solving problems. And exactly as it was reported before it has potential in certain areas of math and medicine but certainly not to "write your email" for you 🤨 It's insane to give such energy-hungry tools for very specific tasks full on to the public, to generate monkey pictures and shitty videos and being nothing more than another marketing stunt. It's like give people access to the nuclear power plant just to cook their breakfasts 😅 Even the name "AI" itself is not what it is. There's nothing "intelligent" about it, only some advanced capabilities. In sane world it might be available openly to attest and develop a better tool together, not creating multitude competing copies and spending 10 times more resources than needed, at the same time stopping some nuts from spreading misinformation about their closed LLMs that are going to destroy the Earth soon 😄 Yet another ugly manifestation of how our trade-based society works, unfortunately 🤷‍♂️
