What about #briar ?

They now have a feature that allows for message delivery even when the device is not online by using a spare always on android device.

one more that I really love, but not many people have heard of is #AnonymousMessenger which uses Tor and .onion addresses.

It's amazing! Super easy to use and snappy.

By the way Briar does not support calls right?

We would not want to use one that promotes payments of any sort. A messenger should be a messenger (text, voice/video calls).
