What is funny is that we are in the mountains in spain with our TROMhome and we had no clue about any of these. We are fully offgrid in terms of power.
We have lots of solar panels, enough batteries, and satellite internet. So we are all good.
Perhaps we are indeed ready for an apocalypse. Waiting for it here in Picos de Europa :)

IMPORTANT!
We will remove our Matrix server in a week time (4th of May). Here's why?
In short: the service has become hard to manage and bots (likely) have taken advantage of our kindness spamming other rooms/users. Because of that our hosting provider wanted to shut down our entire TROM.tf server. Hard to deal with all that and with a huge 300GB database. On top of this anyone can make an account with matrix.org or other instances.

Playa de la Colada, el Viso. A nice looking recreational area, pretty quiet off season, but the water was contaminated and was full of dying fish! A little bit eerie but otherwise a nice place. In the last photo you can see how flooded it was after all this rain.
Oh and we also found mold under our bed! 😯

PLAYA DE LA COLADA: This was a beautiful yet kinda creepy place because we found a LOT of fish dying and it looked really weird. Not a water you want to go swim into. We solved the mystery later on when we red more about the place... Except that, we had a good time there and the scenery was really nice. We even did some nigthtime timelapse.

Helaas zijn ook in Brussel de conservatieve landbouwlobby en chemische lobby erg sterk.
Waar komt het getal 3.000 vandaan? Als ik google op de toegestane hoeveelheid pfas in wijn vind ik de Europese verordening van 2 microgram. Dan is 300 microgram dus 150 x zo hoog. Natuurlijk nog steeds zo ontzettend veel meer dat het absurd is ...

(Ik kwam op onderstaande link uit maar voor wijn is het niet gespecificeerd (ik denk dat ik bij de verkeerde stof keek en daar die 2 microgram vandaan had )). Voor het verhaal maakt het natuurlijk niet zoveel uit: zo'n norm is een maatstaf en 150 x of 3000 keer is allebei gillend veel teveel.

in reply to Kees Alders • •Nou, de officiële toegestane waarde is in Europa geloof ik inderdaad 2 microgram de liter 👉 en in Nederland, België en een aantal andere landen veel minder.
Maar als je TFA zoals milieuorganisaties voorstellen, als "relevante metaboliet" ziet, omdat uit onderzoek inderdaad blijkt dat ze "persistent, mobiel en toxisch is", dan geldt de Europese norm van 0,1 mg/L.
In Europa geldt nu voor TFA daarnaast deze norm voor totale veilige inname: niet meer dan "50 μg/kg bw/day (microgram per kilogram body weight per day) for TFA in 2014"
In Nederland is die norm 0.32 μg/kg bw/day, meer dan 100 keer zo laag.
De normen zijn vorig jaar strenger geworden in NL, maar nog niet in de EU. Bovendien zijn beide normen nog steeds veel te hoog, en wordt onderzoek getraineerd, zoals ook in dit rapport staat:

Het allerbelangrijkste is NEE zeggen.
Heel veel mensen en bedrijven doen wat Timothy Synder "obedience in advance" noemt: ze zijn bij voorbaat gehoorzaam, censureren zichzelf zelfs al voordat het ze is gevraagd. Terwijl we gewoon elke vorm van collaboratie zouden moeten weigeren.
Het andere ding wat we allemaal kunnen doen, is ons organiseren.
Je hoeft geen held te zijn of een alomvattende theorie uit te dokteren. Ga gewoon naar een organisatie die al bestaat, en die je gaaf vindt, en vraag ze hoe je ze kunt steunen. Iedereen kan iets waar iemand anders behoefte aan heeft.
Samen kunnen we extreemrechts aan de kant krijgen. In je eentje lukt dat niet.
