I had a Sony Vaio Pocket, but it is too slow for nowadays tasks. There are several models out to look for, but used mint laptops are expensive since it is now sort of collectible item. Cheap and maybe beated up like this ebay.com/itm/334558204984

As i said, mint vaios are now collectibles. Panasonic CF-52 are good laptops, quite heavy but very resistant --> here is another ebay.com/itm/403908768405

Toughbooks are very well built. CF-31s also have a magnesium chasis. You won't regret them, also runs very cool and perform well under stress, they are semi-rugged laptops, see --> youtube.com/watch?v=ykcVSgTd5A… or youtube.com/watch?v=hQJxvctxc3… and the drop test --> youtube.com/watch?v=R5GD_cQC1s…

You can get a Panasonic Toughbook also, they are unbeatable and designed for last for life. I have a CF-31 which is a damn brick, but there are some thinner models like this one --> ebay.com/itm/185627421074 or this --> ebay.com/itm/325369396127
