Go Tio! Hope you will have some productive time, friend :loveheart
I, as someone who has been priveleged to see little sneakpeaks from the upcoming TROM II documentry, can only say that I absolutely loved what I saw and it's going to be fabulous! :smiling face with hearts: In my humble opinion it is one of the most important stories ever told and can't imagine something more suitable, especially, in times like these in the world, when we keep suffering with so many problems without realizing at all the most possible origin of all of them..

No. Some people ruined and abused the practice of "donating" especially in the online world. Donate means: I give this to you andI do not expect anything in return. This is why it is donation and not a payment for a product/service. Anyone has equal access to everything that we produce at TROM, regardless if they donate or not. Same as Wikipedia.

If anyone asks you for a donation and in return they give you some perks, then that's not a donation.

More here for a broader definition and explanation en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donation

It would be the case if the donated money would be expected to be used for whatever, but the expectation of donating to Wikipedia is that it will be used to work on Wikipedia and not to buy alcohol or cigarettes for some random person on the street.

So I'm donating to Wikipedia and I'm getting a better quality Wikipedia, I'm getting something back for it, the only difference is that I also let other people use the fruits of my donation.

That's about your expectation. But nothing to do with trade. Trade is a practice between at least 2 humans, else we go into the abstract and anything can be seen as trade, including you reading a book in order to get educated. You "trade" your time to get educated. But we are not talking about this. This is too abstract and goes nowhere.

So between you and Wikipedia there is no: I give you that in order for you to give me this. It is: I help your project because I like what you are doing. So there is no trade involved. Unless you define your expectations as "trade".
