Cool. I found only one small bug with importing following people from Mastodon, but it seems to be limited to ARM processor. So you should be good. calckey.org/
I seem to be having the same issue with follow imports hosting on my pc as well:( It says this may take a while, but never actually seems to import them.
### What happened?
I setup a new instance using Yunohost on an ARM board (Orange PI). I cannot add people to groups, but that is a lower priority I can live without.
Everything else seems to be working fine now for me. I don't know when they will fix this bug and have it ready for Yunohost upgrade. So I am importing manually one by one and taking the opportunity to clean up my following list.
That's great, it's good they know, though I agree, it's likely the #Yunohost package:( After investigating the forums at forum.yunohost.org there don't seem to be any topics at all.
I just posted this forum.yunohost.org/t/calckey-u… to make everybody aware. It is a beautiful project that will hopefully attract more people. Mastodon is a little boring and missing the features that people would like, although I don't know if anything could get most people off the Zuckbook.
I and a fellow Yunohoster installed Calckey instances and face same issue of unable to upload lists downloaded from our previous instances. The bug is logged here: #9999 - [Bug]: Unable to import following.csv - calckey - Codeberg.
Just a quick update about the #yunohost #calckey issue of not being able to import followers ... turns out that this may be something inherited from #misskey .
I just recently uninstalled #calckey due to this issue (I'm waiting until this is resolved) and tried #misskey in its place ... sadly it is not able to do this either:(
I'm not sure if this has something to do with #yunohost #calckey #misskey or the combination of both somehow
To add to this, I was thinking of creating a personal #friendica instance, which is the service I'm using now, though not self-hosting. However, I think I am not convinced. I love the features, but it feels slow to me, which is a bit sad. I also learned that this may be due to the fact that it is built in PHP.
@radio SW is neutral. Users and instance operators are not. Pick the SW that meets your desire. Snac2 seems to be on the other end of the feature spectrum from Misskey or Calckey of minimalist verses full featured. Tell me how you like Snac2 if you try it.
