I'm strongly against AI-art, and a SF zine who is publishing one of my stories has a need for HUMAN MADE ART (this is a paying gig), but the deadline is very tight on this. I setup my own #calckey server up. It is now up and running! (Still teasing out the last few wrinkles.) Using Hetzner, Docker, and (But Muy Securitay!) Cloudflare Tunnel.

OK, I am on qoto.org, if I feel there is too much spam or something I don't like from a user / instance (domain) I can manually block that instance from my own account? One of the strengths of the fedivers is I can do JUST THAT. I can block / mute individual accounts for a set period.
I think defederation is rather extreme, unless there is known illegal or questionable content.
