Just got through the timeline again. Boosted some, as there were a few awesome Halloween πŸŽƒ toots out there!
Boosted some of my Masto and Pixelfed things too...
In less than two hours, I'll be in Skoosh, heading to my friends in Almere. Hope the drive will go well.
I'll need to sleep on a couch for two nights, so I'm very sure my back will be glad to be back in bed on Monday. πŸ˜‰
And Skoosh should have her all-season shoes then. Yay for that too...

It will be a little emotional during my visit at some point, as I will bring the Arwen memorial heart to my friends.

A shimmering crystal glass heart, both delicate and strong, immortalizes the memory of Arwen, the chocolate Labrador who was more than a petβ€”she was a soulmate, the kindest and most loving companion one could ever wish for. The heart contains a laser-engraved image of Arwen, her soft eyes and warm expression glowing within the glass as if still watching over those who loved her. Beside her image lies a silver lid stamped with a simple black pawprint, sealing a hidden chamber that holds some of her ashes, visible when the heart rests on its side. This sacred memorial was created as a gift for two dear friends, to honor the bond they too shared with Arwenβ€”especially one of them, who adored her just as deeply as she adored him. The engraving was made from a picture taken on June 6th, just weeks before Arwen’s passing on July 4th, 2025, days short of her 12th birthday. She may be gone, but through this crystal heart, her love shines on eternally, a reminder that she will never be forgotten, and will forever be missed.

The crystal glass heart memorial lies on its back, revealing its thickness and clear structure. Within the heart, the softly glowing engraving of Arwen, the chocolate Labrador, can still be seen, her gentle features immortalized in glass. Hmmm.... I had this long text written, and I switched screens to copy an Alt text to add. I switched back... And the whole post was gone! Apparently, you can't "just" leave the screen of a compose message open in Raccoon....

Unfortunately, I don't really have the spoons to type it all again now. πŸ˜” Which is quite a bummer...

If I will feel better later today, or maybe the upcoming night, I will try to re-write it and see what I can make of it then.
