There is personal sorrow and the sorrow of the world. There is the sorrow of ignorance and the sorrow of time. This ignorance is the lack of knowing oneself, and the sorrow of time is the deception that time can cure, heal and change. Most people are caught in that deception and either worship sorrow or explain it away. But in either case it continues, and one never asks oneself if it can come to an end. Self-pity is one of the elements of sorrow. Another element is being attached to someone and encouraging or fostering their attachment to you. Sorrow is not only when attachment fails you, but its seed is in the very beginning of that attachment. In all this, the trouble is the utter lack of knowing oneself. Knowing oneself is the ending of sorrow.

To see the false as the false, the truth in the false, and truth as truth, such perception is that quality of intelligence which is neither yours nor mine โ which then acts. That action has no distortion, no remorse. It doesnโt leave a mark, a footprint on the sands of time. That intelligence cannot be unless there is great compassion, love. There cannot be compassion if the activities of thought are anchored in any ideology or faith, or attached to a symbol or to a person. There must be freedom to be compassionate. And where there is that flame, that very flame is the movement of intelligence.

There is no intelligence if there is no sensitivity of the body and mind โ the sensitivity of feeling and the clarity of observation. Emotionalism and sentimentality prevent the sensitivity of feeling. Being sensitive in one area and dull in another leads to contradiction and conflict, which deny intelligence. The integration of many broken parts into a whole does not bring about intelligence. Sensitivity is attention, which is intelligence. Intelligence has nothing to do with knowledge or information. Knowledge is always the past; it can be called upon to act in the present, but it limits the present. Intelligence is always in the present, and of no time.

The skill of intelligence is to put knowledge in its right place. Without knowledge, it is not possible to live in this technological and almost mechanical civilisation, but knowledge will not transform the human being and society. Knowledge is not the excellence of intelligence; intelligence can and does use knowledge and thus transforms man and society. Intelligence is not the mere cultivation of the intellect and its integrity. It comes out of the understanding of the whole consciousness of man, yourself, not a part, a separate segment of yourself. The study and the understanding of the movement of your own mind and heart give birth to this intelligence.

Sorry to hear about the health issues man, I hope the situation improves..... I can understand how it feels like to deal with a bad healthcare system, so I also feel very sorry for your mother.
And don't worry too much about your abdominal pain, very unlikely to be cancer - also keep in mind that today more people survive cancer than ever before, so it's not as scary as it used to be. I hope you can get a proper diagnosis soon. I'm at least happy for you that you have access to a good healthcare system there in Spain.
And the motivation thing really hit home for me man, I also feel like it these days. Maybe I should just let myself go and do something interesting to get engaged, or perhaps just write something and talk to like minded people - maybe that's what I'm missing, since you are also not writing/making stuff like you used to. We can have a call to just chat about things, maybe that would help..... Either way I'll keep trying to get more engaged with stuff.

Thanks Roko! Yeah no now I am not worried about cancer but is something that crossed my mind. Next month I have appointments with 2 different specialists so that is great. We may figure this out.
We will have a chat soon ;). I need to try and get myself to do something for TROM that is "creative" these next weeks. I have some plans and I have worked on some stuff recently. But I am always distracted by problems...
I am very happy you are still around the project and I think that we could continue to work on cool stuff still. And new stuff too. Would be great to get busy with relevant shit again. And I have a feeling we will.

Can one look at the question of what intelligence is not as a problem? Can you do it? If you do, that is the beginning of intelligence, which means the brain is already becoming free from its conditioning. But if you approach this as a question and then try to solve it, you are back in the old muddle. When one realises that the brain is conditioned to solve problems and therefore that you approach any question with a mind and brain that says, โI must solve it,โ you never meet the challenge afresh. To meet a problem afresh, any problem, is the beginning of intelligence.

I think, he wanted to say, I see how to profit from this crisis, I have power not to become poor. I have the power not pay for this crisis, energy consumes will pay for this, not me.
He forgot to answer to the question

in reply to Dima • •Ecoflix should stop making these AI-thumbnails because is quite ridiculous :)). You already make very good thumbnails maybe tell them to use them...they are real not AI generated.
100% about trains and generally public transport. No way people will use them when they are several times more expensive than planes. And planes need a lot of fuel, airports, security, etc.. In terms of resources a lot more expensive, but not money....such a shame.
But anyway great to see you do these things too. Although I have little hope in these gov organizations at least maybe you get some eyeballs to see you stuff and maybe make new connections that can help you in the future. Would really like to see a video about your presentation.
Great about Montenegro too!
Also I see a bit more support on Patreon? Even if it is a tiny bit, if it grows maybe it is a good sign. Very far from what you would need to even pay for a bus ticket probably :D but maybe if you continue bit by bit you'll get more support. It is fucking hard but who knows...
Keep up the great work man! Both of you!

in reply to Tio • •Yeah, these AI thumbs are ridiculous :) I actually specially made thumb for each episode, as they require that, but then they changed them :)
I also don't have any hope for this GOV organizations, especially after the conference , but even before. It's just talking and discussing and talking and again discussing, and then symposium and few online meetings.
Yeah, I would love to see video from presentation tambien :) but they fucked up live stream :( It was the most important part for me, to have such video. ANyway I am waiting if they could get some footage for me, as they had video guy there as well.
Patreon - yes, but it's still I got only 47 euro a month :) In average I spent 300 euro per 1 video, that's only my expenses if I count all the videos I did last year and divided on all the money I spent. That's also excluding food and other small things, mainly just transport and nightstay. And even that in most of the cases I am trying to get very very cheap, like staying at friends, asking for NGO's to provide stay and food etc. Normally price would be much more.
