Thank you to the new peeps requesting to follow me. I didn't follow everyone back, because my app showed some empty timelines for some. Maybe the instances need to become friends first, so that I can see your posts...

If you interact with me and it's a good experience, I'll definitely throw you a follow back. But with limited spoons, it's harder for me to follow back when I can't see who it is I am following back, if that makes sense. 😊

Hopefully, today will be a good day. I do need to get a bit of exercise in this morning, so when we get back from walkies, I'll see about hitting the home trainer for a bit.

Need to be aware of the time, as someone from the hospital should call me around 8:40. After the call, Arwen and I will head to Nijmegen.

Mum and I will visit a store where I want to check out how things go these days when you want to switch cellphone providers. It's been a while since I made a switch, but since I've moved, I found out that my current provider is less "strong" in this area. Hopefully that visit to the store will go well, and they'll be able to help me get everything sorted. Or at least prepared for when I can get the things sorted. 😊

Hello sweet Friendos 💜

I've recently started using this account more, as my first Friendica account was rather unstable.

I want to use this account to boost my own toots from my several Fedi accounts. But... I also want to boost toots that I find interesting. Not "just" the toots that everyone seems to boost. But also the toots that usually would "just" get a like from me.

I have tried to find the people I interact most with on my other accounts. But, I'd like to find more interesting people to follow and, when I like their posts/toots, boost them. 😊

Looking for people that I share interests in. I'll list, in no apparent order, just how my brain comes up with them, some hashtag of things that interest me...

Musk "stopt met DOGE".

"Onder DOGE is wel het aantal ambtenaren met 12 procent teruggebracht (...) Dat gebeurde vooral door ambtenaren te stimuleren om vrijwillig te vertrekken, met vertrekregelingen en vervroegd pensioen." (NUnl/RTL)

Wow.

Volgens NUnl, RTL en NOS is fascisme iets heel onschuldigs: gewoon wat ambtenaren laten afvloeien, grotendeels door "vrijwillig vertrek".

Maar DOGE is de kern van de coup van Musk en Trump, waarbij niet alleen een ongekend aantal ambtenaren ontslagen is terwijl er geen enkele legale basis voor is, maar waarbij ook alle federale privédata, social security numbers en een ongekende hoeveelheid geheime data, zelfs van de geheime diensten, is gekopieerd door Musk.

Dat gebeurt niet om te bezuinigen.
Dat gebeurt om de rechtsstaat, inclusiviteit, natuurbehoud, zorg en ontwikkelingssamenwerking te vervangen met autoritarisme, racisme en klimaatontkenning en commercie.
Alleen het torpederen van USAID heeft al tot honderden doden geleid.

Dat toont meteen het tweede doel van DOGE: De federale overheid vleugellam maken om crises te veroorzaken. Want net zoals Faber geen faalhaas is, maar juist een zeer kundige minister die precies doet wat Schreeuwwitje wil, en net zoals de BBB minister niet toevallig de stikstofcrisis allee maar uitstelt, waardoor die groeit: Ook Trump en Musk weten dat crises goed zijn voor de groei van fascisme. Je schopt een crisis, geeft een zondebok de schuld, en roept dat jij het wel even op gaat lossen terwijl je de crisis alleen maar verergert. Het autoritaire recept werkt: Mensen in crisis steunen "sterke mannen".

Maar volgens NUnl was het gewoon een niet zo succesvolle bezuinigingsoperatie?
Stelletje fascisme-enablers dat jullie zijn.

En hoe kan het dat niemand van jullie dit heeft meegekregen? Om verlies te voorkomen, heeft de advocaat van het regime net valselijk tegen het Supreme Court beweerd dat Musk nooit voor de Amerikaanse overheid heeft gewerkt. Totale nonsens natuurlijk, maar dit is cruciale informatie om te begrijpen waarom Musk nu officieel vaarwel zegt.
Is de bron van de NOS voor het volgen van Amerikaans nieuws misschien NUnl, en omgekeerd?

Musk doet nu dus alsof hij niets meer met de Amerikaanse overheid te maken heeft.

Dat is uiteraard onzin, hij heeft nog steeds alle overheidsdata in handen die hij heeft geroofd, en om maar eens iets te noemen is hij eigenlijk de enige kanshebber op een IT overheidscontract van 25 miljard. En toen hij met Trump Saoedi Arabië bezocht heeft hij daar ook al tientallen miljarden in de wacht heeft gesleept terwijl hij de afhankelijkheid van de VS van hem vergrootte.

Het belangrijkste wat verandert is dat hij niet meer het publieke gezicht van Amerikaans overheidsfascisme zal zijn. Pardon, van de "vrijwillige vertrekregeling voor ambtenaren", nietwaar RTL?
