I've never felt more positive about Ed Sheeran. He definitely gets copyright right.
"Copyright was designed to benefit the middlemen and gatekeepers, such as the record labels, over the artists themselves. That’s why the labels have a long history of never paying artists. ... modern copyright is stifling rather than incentivizing music creation — directly in contrast to what we’re told it’s supposed to be doing"

Ed Sheeran, Once Again, Demonstrates How Modern Copyright Is Destroying, Rather Than Helping Musicians
To hear the recording industry tell the story, copyright is the only thing protecting musicians from poverty and despair. Of course, that’s always been a myth. Copyright was designed to benefit the…Techdirt

Dangerous EARN IT Bill Advances Out of Committee, but Several Senators Offer Objections
Last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted, for a third time, to advance the dangerous EARN IT bill (S. 1207)—a law that could lead to suspicionless scans of every online message, photo, and hosted file.Electronic Frontier Foundation

The US makes clear that it's fine with End to End encryption, as long as it can listen in on at least one of those ends.
Next time you think "end to end encryption" at least think about who's controlling those ends. You're not controlling one of them, and soon you may not control the other either. So you're doing E2E encryption... but to what end?

As an alternative to the completely useless "UX/UI", I propose:
Pixels vs Process
Both are important & nuanced! Pixels are the specifics of what you see: layout, fonts, color scheme and icons. Process is more how the user flows through the product: user needs, navigation model, how many new concepts does your app invent, or how errors are handled or recovered.
Pixels are a snapshot, Process is a flow through time.
(but, tbh, I realize this has no chance, I'm just ranting a bit)

Misskey and its clones reminds me of MySpace
It does many things, and the UI is packed with distracting elements like the current date represented in progress bars (lol why tho?)
I wish them all the best, maybe I'm old, but I like the simplicity of Mastodon

You can simplify the layout (there are three modes, with the simplest being a basic reverse chronological timeline).
All the dates and stuff are "widgets", of which there are more!, that are removed in the simplified view.
Calckey has a high degree of customisability it seems.

We planned to add that support. We will first fix all bugs on our latest release and bring small improvements.
Then we will work on the Calckey support.
PS: We won't apply for the 150$ bounty.
