Francesca Albanese (U.N. Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory) was asked this question by a canadian 'journalist':
"Do you believe Israel has the right to exist?"

Not entirely, no. Not at all.
If Francesca Albanese FAILS to fulfill her mandate, she lost her right to exist.
There were countless fuckers who made a lucrative living around this issue. Going forward lets make every effort count.
I may be not right, but I am not wrong about this.
You need to understand something.
I live in Chicago, USA. Our politicians keep telling us "there is no such thing as an illegal human". They use this argument to empower them to vote, bail them out of prison when they commit crimes, and forgive them when they abuse their "human" status.
The rest of us are not morons. Palestine is a party at fault for not being able to resolve the issue.
Stop fucking around. Resolve this. I will not care how many Palestine children has to die simply because I did not cause this, I do not maintain this, and I have no capacity to end this.
Do you understand? Stop with the pressure to get other people involved, take sides.
Solve it.

Right... (deep breath)
We *need* community-owned decentralised social networks. The Fediverse is the only place where this exists.
Centralised corporate social networks are easier to use because of investors' money, but these same investors demand ever-larger profits by spying on users, manipulating feeds and encouraging toxic engagement.
The Fediverse is trickier to use because it is decentralised and community-owned, but that's also what protects it from being bought out and enshittifying.

Yes, you can delete your old account if you want to leave no traces. It would be much harder for people to find your new account, but if this is what you want that's totally doable.

Socialist presidential candidate Claudia De la Cruz speaks on how the intervention of third parties is a part of the struggle to build and expand democracy in a system that actively suppresses our democratic right to participate in the decision-making processes of the country.

Earlier this year, we sat down with the @fsfe to talk about how the book encourages young readers to explore programming, digital rights, and open-source ethics. Now it's been released as an animated movie. The story centers on a young girl named Ada, who learns about the value of free software to prevent misuse.

I like the 👀 you added. I cant believe we live in a time of drones and satellites and internet and we still have been mostly in the dark about whats happening inside Gaza for the past months.
The defence ministry told Middle East Eye: “As a matter of principle, we only provide intelligence to our allies where we are satisfied that it will be used in accordance with International Humanitarian Law, and in this instance, only information relating to hostage rescue is passed to the Israeli authorities.”
Ah yeah sure. This goes along the logic of "schools are hamas, hospitals are hamas, UN is hamas" if you dont know where the hostages are, then that means any area is a valid area for Israel to get information from the UK.

Hey Ralen 👋
Yeah, I had a similar experience which is why I set up fedi.video that only federates with curated hand-picked accounts.
I deliberately don't federate with 600k videos because that means the good stuff gets buried under trash.
I also boost interesting videos several times a day, and there is a pinned post on my profile with interesting PeerTube accounts to follow.
