These war criminals who should be prosecuted for genocide have zero shame.

The audacity at this stage of the extermination.

Billionaires do not buy major information outlets to make money.

They buy them to use them.

@YourSecondDraft I forget who said this but, “Knowledge is not power. Power is power, and knowledge is particularly useful to those who have it.”

They do seem to have a particular use in mind: destroying democracy and controlling the world with their monopoly power.

In the fast-evolving world of activism, technology, and social justice, few individuals embody the spirit of both innovation and purpose quite like Adil Abbuthalha, the creator of "Boycat", an app designed to revolutionise ethical consumerism.

Before October 2023, he was working in data science. But as Israeli attacks on Gaza escalated, his focus shifted dramatically.

#Israel is destroying the ancient city of #Tyre as you choose to scold voters who won’t commit to Zionist #Democrats.

Builds that go back to Alexander the Great. Bombs supplied by #Biden-#Harris.

Belgian Workers Party Belgian MP Nabil Boukili confronted the Israeli ambassador to Belgium, Idit Rosenzweig Abu, in a heated exchange in the Belgian parliament on 22 October.

Boukili demanded accountability for Israel’s actions before stating that Israel is “a terrorist state” and called it a “disgrace” that there are no sanctions against Israel.

Called my MP again today about an arms embargo. At this point it's mostly to annoy their staff. I encourage you to do the same. My MP is from the Liberal party and she's been very dismissive of Palestine.

There's a guide here (canada):

After destroying Ottoman era mosques and buildings, after destroying one of the oldest churches in #Gaza, Saint Porphyrios, now #Israel is destroying Tyre, one of the oldest cities in the world.

This attacks are not by accident. Israel has a long standing practice of destroying (or remodeling or appropriating) historical buildings as a way of erasing the Muslim presence and history. This much is denounced in Illan Pappé's book The Ethnic Cleansing of #Palestine.

basic #privacy tip ... If you are interested in, or relying on, end-to-end encryption then do yourself a favor and ensure your keyboard app (Gboard anyone?) does not have network access.

You can sleep better knowing your Keyboard app does not transfer stuff somewhere, let alone feed some AI machinery, right?

Keyboard apps also often have access to clipboard buffers, so copy+paste is also leaking if your keyboard app happily talks with servers.

Edit: feel free to provide your recommendation

Sam Altman side by side with Aaron Swartz.

I can't stop thinking about it. One was prosecuted by the US for downloading copyrighted data from 1 source for noble purposes, and committed suicide to avoid prison. The other is widely celebrated for doing this on a much larger scale*.

Incredible how you were able to frame it in a way that allowed it to have separation from a BG that had the same colour and value!

CNN's Sympathy Piece on Israeli Soldier Backfires After War Crime Allegations Surface

Despite the reality carefully researched and documented by not only Amnesty International but by a preponderance of the world's human rights organizations, CNN employed language that carefully constructed a sympathetic narrative around the mental health of a soldier engaged in actions that the World Court has acknowledged as a plausible case of genocide.

Critics argue that CNN's story is emblematic of a broader trend of double standards within corporate media. For instance, the New York Times has reported on Israeli soldiers' "panic attacks" as newsworthy yet has not offered similar mental health coverage for Lebanese or Palestinian civilians who are being killed and injured in large numbers.

Or, the Biden admin cut just cut all aid to Israel until they permanently stop bombing, starving, and destroying. that'd probably be enough to get Kamala the votes she needs.
in reply to MikeDunnAuthor

@MikeDunnAuthor yeah, but that would lose funding from the donors like AIPAC which is a far worse scenario for the dems than losing the election.
in reply to Yogthos

Yes, that one major reason it hasn't happened. Which tells us who is really manipulating the U.S. elections (Israel, not Russia). And it tells us who the Dems really work for (and it's not the Americans registered and voting as Dems)...
in reply to Yogthos

The worst part of being on the left isn't being shut out from political power, it's constantly knowing what's going to happen. Every time, you can see how things will turn, and every time it doesn't matter.

Being Cassandra fucking sucks.

Though, to be honest, I don't know if Trump will win. The dems are trying their very best to make it happen, but people genuinely don't like him much.
