Our top bed roof vent sucked. So we bought a very slim one called Roofstar 4. In theory it is easy to add it. But of course like all things, it is more difficult than you think. Anyway now we love this roof vent and it makes a big difference. We can even stargaze from the bed 😃

Tio went for a month solo with the motorhome in the North East of Spain. This is how he coped with it 😃. This is also the craziest road we have taken our motorhome on, some 1KM climb via a 12KM dirt road. But at the end of the road it was Paradise. That was in Queralbs, more specifically the Fontalba parking.

I never expected life in a motorhome to be easy but I'm impressed with how you're managing okay for the most part. And yeah no harm in taking some rest for a few days, you need it. Funny enough I'm also sick now with a cough and all 😅 I hope you recover quickly, and I'm glad you at least have good healthcare in Spain to treat your hernia, wishing you best of luck with your treatment.

This video is to show you how Tio was melting in Spain in July/August in a parking lot. It was so hot, easily over 30 degrees inside the motorhome almost every single day. He had 6-7 fans running almost nonstop. He also fixed our terribly looking shower tub and did other things to the motorhome. Enjoy the pain 😃

So impressed to see that they make these astronomical observation points in some parts of Spain and how they add these info panels about the stars, Moon, cosmos and in this case Carl Sagan. La Picota - we paid 8 Euros a night to park here. And we stayed for 3 nights. Trust us, we are very cheap people, so this must have been a fantastic place if we were keen to pay for it. Close to the parking was a "mythological" forest and at the end of it the most amazing view of Picos de Europa. Down the other way there were a bunch of beautiful waterfalls.

Indeed one of the best places we parked at.

Can you believe this is not Switzerland? We went for a day to this beautiful place just to see how it is. Sasha also found an abandoned villagge and some cute cows. Picos de Europa is now on fire, and it is such a shame because it is a wonderful natural place.

If there is one place that we liked the most, it was the Cares Trail in Picos de Europa. Amazing trail between huge mountains. You feel so small, yet contaminated with awe. We found goats, little waterfalls, and saw snowy peaks. This is a place we must go again to!

Acebedo - close to the Picos de Europa, beautiful parking place, great hiking, so relaxing and wonderful. This is the number 1 best motorhome parking spot for us. We also got to experience how it is to be fully offgrid when half of Spain was without electricity we did not notice a thing, having solar panels and satellite internet. We could probably survive a zombie apocalypse 😃.

We hope to get back to this place!
