Since i do not own any apple devices, if anyone does can you test the following apps with our TROMsocial?

Just login and make a post and such, for a minute or so. if they work we can add them to trom.tf/social/

Warning: early studies.

So the Delta COVID variant is more infectious than the flu (which says a lot), and vaccinated people carry about the same amount of viruses as the un-vaccinated ones. pbs.org/newshour/health/study-…

Which makes you think....the tables have turned....now un-vaccinated people are fucked because they are not even protected by the vaccinated ones. But the vaccinated ones, despite the same load of virus inside of them, are unlikely to experience a severe outcome of the infection.

In other words: the Delta COVID spreads super fast even via vaccinated people. And if you are not vaccinated, then good luck to you! I wish you well, but you may not be.

I am amused at the irony of the situation now....So I'll keep on staying vaccinated and I always wear a mask when I go outside. Do the same you morons! Facebook warriors...psh...

they ain't gonna experience a major illness if hit by covid for one simple reason. they got vaccinated, that's what vaccinations do, help ya immune system get primed for kicking covid's ass.

as for the unvaccinated....

They are waiting for Darwinism to take them... and there has been many cases of unvaccinated regretting their life choices at the death bed

i may Zero apologise for this last bit. cos the unvaxxed are like pack of idiots...

in reply to Tio

not getting major illness which means to me anyway they won't need hospital visits, ventilators etc

yes you'll get flu symptoms if your vaccinated i was just making a point compared to unvaccinated people vaccinated people are gonna have a lot less issues.....

and there has been documented cases where unvaccinated have died from being an idiot :)

sorry if my reply didn't make sense :)

ah right , ya think i would know this fact as i still wear a mask, using hand sanitizer etc even after i got double pfizer'ed (with new installed 5g Capablities!). I'm still being being extra careful even now im vaccinated cos I don't want Delta variant anymore than the next person

I was making a point in my original toot about being vaccinated is way better than being unvaccinated too, sort of got misinterpreted XD

I managed to be very efficient today and worked a lot on trom.tf. Released TROMmaps officially and made a very cool presentation page for it ;). I like it! And it is such a great tool.

We will also move to Matrix. Our instance works great so far, there are millions using it already, and yeah is simply functional and easy to use. Will make it public soon so anyone can use our instance too. What I love is that so many open source projects already have Matrix rooms and I joined a few like for Invidious, Kdenlive, Matrix, Yunohost, and other, and got in quick and direct touch with the people behind these projects and managed to track down some bugs and ask some questions and such. It is great to have direct access to their chats like that.

Worked on improving our TROMsocial presentation page and a bit the other ones trom.tf/ + now all cards info from the front page open in a new page. It is better like that than popups since in popups certain elements didn't work.

O put TROM II on hold these days...I want to fix some stuff with trom.tf and other things. I will get back to it after TROMcast. I tried to work last night but I had a mental collapse when I saw 5 hours of materials, clipped into so many parts + so many notes, that need to be reduced to 15 or so minutes...I did a bit of work but could not do much...

I don't want to stress myself with TROM II or any project. I want to enjoy life and let these things be part of this enjoyable life. So if I don't feel like working on TROM II, I am for sure in the mood to work on trom.tf, or tromjaro, or something else.

Here's my progress with the documentary:

See the small red bar on the left? That's the "done" part of the documentary, some 25 minutes. See the other big red line and underneath it a lot of things...? That's around 5h of recordings that I have to narrow down to less than 20 minutes. haha. Nuts. I will start that tomorrow....idk how I'm gonna do it...

Then I only have around 18 more hours to go through hahaha...wtf did we do!?
I will have to delete at least 15 hours of footage overall. If not 20 hours...

Anyways it is what it is... #tromlive

min 21:34 ! Exactly what we are talking about. The "free" notion is nothing more than the same trade system. Cows for mils > service for a good > skills for food > then later on we invented some mediums to keep track of these, called currencies. So it went something like: I trade my skills for money, because money represents some value and can be traded later for some food. In the present we trade our data for entertainment, our attention (via ads) for all kinds of other services. It is THE SAME EXACT SYSTEM. Only different are the flavors of it. We explain it all in detail in two books - one about the beginning of it all tromsite.com/books/#flipbook-d… and one about the present of it tromsite.com/books/#flipbook-d…

@Aral Balkan is the speaker.

That's the reason we came up with an experimental idea - trade-free.org/ - that applies to everything, not just software.

Good talk! #tromlive

Just read up on your Trade-Free initiative and I love it. Captures and articulates the essence of what we need perfectly and is entirely compatible with Small Tech/Small Web (see small-tech.org/about/#small-te… and small-tech.org/research-and-de…)

💕

There's also a directory for finding trade-free goods and services - directory.trade-free.org

This brings all the good projects and organizations together 😀

Yeah I had to make our TROM Chat private because these "qanons" or whatever the hell, invaded us since we have stopped them from posting BS content on our Peertube and from creating hundreds of accounts. This world is insane. But I take it as a positive thing. It is a lesson for me. And I will have to figure out how to deal with it. For now I want to focus on the new TROMjaro iso and for sure TROM II. #tromlive

I love it how in TROMjaro if I want an application like privateinternetaccess.com - that I still need since I am doing VN stuff and the like - I simply search for it int the Add/Remove software. It finds it as AUR and I simply click install. That's all. No terminal, no searching online for these...

AUR + Manjaro repositories + Flatpak are all enabled by default in TROMjaro and you can find pretty much anything there. Talk about Linux being difficult to use and that you have to use the terminal. BS. Try TROMjaro :P

About this video....you know I am happy that there are many distros out there but everyone who talks about Linux being easy to use and they know their viewers are mostly Windows users, give the wrong examples. Take TROMjaro (Manjaro spin): all that this guy did could have been done via the Software Center. Not touching the terminal at all. The Manjaro's software center (pamac: with Flatpak, AUR, and Manjaro repos added by default) is the best Linux Software center out there. Period!

Wanna install anything? Just search there and click install...

Ubuntu or Debian based distros suffer a lot from the nu-availability of software via their software centers. People think PopOS is easy to use? Try TROMjaro tromjaro.com/ and you won't use the terminal. #tromlive
