BTW, do you guys live in a place where there isn't much light pollution? I've heard that light pollution is a big issue for astrophotography, maybe not for the moon but surely for other fainter things in the sky.

It is a small coastal town we live in so even if there is light pollution is not as bad as in the cities. That being said the conditions for astrophotography are quite bad. For the Moon it does not matter, but for galaxies/nebulas it makes a massive difference to be in a darker place.

Taken tonight. My first attempt of image stacking - basically I recorded a video of Jupiter and with Siril (FOSS) I easily stacked the images and done some 5 minutes editing. Mind you it was one of the worst times to watch Jupiter - almost a full Moon, light pollution, Jupiter on the horizon. I did it with my phone. I cannot wait to do this again when the conditions are right :) . #jupiter #astrophotography #nightsky #planets
