Just got back from Ireland, we were taking a part in activities with "Irish Bees Conservation Project"
In this pic is traditional beekeeper, but our activities were about solitary bees, or wild bees. The one who don't make honey, but are much more effective pollinators than a honey bees, therefore more important for biodiversity. But since there are no profit or advantage to be taking from them, they are often are forgotten.

We also stayed for free at this amazing Irish cottage in a pure country side. It belongs to the CEO of Irish Bees conservation project, and he allowed us to stay there, which was huge help for us, as Ireland is very expensive and also it mage all the logistics very simple as he was living just next door.
Also Ireland is about "Guinness" :) It's everywhere there, beer brand. We tried one alcohol free in Irish pub. It was ok... Interesting that looks like it's forbidden to advertise alcohol in Ireland, but everywhere billboards with beer breweries and beer brands advertising "non alcoholic" beer :)
Ireland also about countryside, everything is green, full of fields, cows and sheep. This herd of young cows were super curious, cute, and playful. But it's also feels very sad and wrong, because in a few months time they all will be slaughtered. Average lifespan for them is only 8-10 months,before they get sent to slaughterhouse to maximize profits.
Ireland also about cliffs, and see. Amazingly beautiful views
And most importantly Ireland is about Tea with Biscuits and very friendly and chatty people That's Pat, pouring us 15th cup of tea :) They also have hats for tea pots :)
I am back now, so will start to edit this video. I Have a lot of other things to do also. And we are preparing for few next conservation trips this month, one will be in Albania and 2nd one in Slovakia.

We will remove our Matrix server in a week time (4th of May). Here's why?
In short: the service has become hard to manage and bots (likely) have taken advantage of our kindness spamming other rooms/users. Because of that our hosting provider wanted to shut down our entire TROM.tf server. Hard to deal with all that and with a huge 300GB database. On top of this anyone can make an account with matrix.org or other instances.
Yet another example of people doing a lot of hard work, for free, and for a good cause. Imagine if more could be involved to do such acts. We need to take care of people, in order for people to not destroy the environment, each other, and to have time to restore what was destroyed.
A must watch documentary especially now when the biggest cult in the world (Christianity) is celebrating their fantasy story about the creator of the universe. See how this cult is infiltrating politics and influencing decisions that affect all of us.

Us, as humans, have a lot to celebrate if we look at the reality around us. Evolution, DNA, stars, the universe. We are all part of the same real and amazing story. Time to let go of these silly fantasies.
They are yet another religious cult. And the documentary talks a lot about religious leaders pushing for the USA to help Israel fight the "enemy", the nonbelivers. And in a way it is funny because from a Christian perspective Jews are also nonbelivers, so the documentary has a lot to do with the Jewish cult too.
EDIT: And to be clear I am referring to the religious jews in my comment above when I call them a cult. As I understand "jews" can also mean many other things en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jews non religious.

Our chat.trom.tf (Matrix/Synapse) has become very difficult to manage - growing database, not an easy way to prevent bots from registering, or others from abusing our service.
For now we have closed the registrations and only accept them via requests. We have 460 users but we are thinking to perhaps shut down the entire service this year.
Too much work considering anyone can make trade-free accounts with matrix.org or other providers....
We will keep everyone informed about our future plans.
Maybe move to Nextcloud Talk since we already have an instance of that. And we may make use of that for file sharing too. It is a neat tool for teams. But we may look into XMPP too.
I understand. I hope they can add encryption to the chats...but on the other hand if anyone gains access to our server and is able to read that "text file" in the backend, we are screwed anyway since we host a lot of services on or trom.tf. Including Friendica which is not encrypted....
So yes, I do prefer an encrypted chat, but things must be put into perspective. Our Nextcloud instance at trom.tf already provides encrypted files/folders for all users, so at least we have that.
The usual updates plus: We have removed the package qt6gtk2-git and replaced with qt6gtk2. The git version was maintained by someone who was calling himself a “Russian troll” And the project was archived anyway.

Since this world still relies on trades (money), and people may have different sort of needs and definitely wants, give everyone a basic income (say 1.000 dollars a month) with no strings attached. You can do it again through taxes, via the removal of so many institutions and resources dedicated to track people and check if they are eligible for benefits, and all of the paperwork nonsense that has been created around this. No more "benefits", no more "pensions". Forget about labeling people as employed or unemployed in regards to who should be helped.
That is it!
Now you will have a bunch of humans who KNOW they are taken care of. They KNOW that if they get sick they should only worry about that health problem and not a financial problem. They KNOW that they wont starve or end up on the street. They know they are SAFE.
On top of this, with the money you give them monthly, they can have some power and focus on doing some useful things in this society. At least some will, if not many.
This can grow up over time into a saner society of humans who can refuse to work for bullshit companies, or do any bullshit jobs. A world in which humans have the time to decide what to focus on, who to "vote" for, stay informed and properly inform others.
A world where scientists or journalists should not worry about their livelihood. So they can do their "jobs" properly.
We deserve and need this world. Else there is no intelligent species on this planet.

They have some funds and grants. But also part of the funding comes from volunteers who joins their missions or go trough the training. Normally you have to pay, but since we were making video we paid only for the food on board.
Ya I know it is a link, I clicked it, it was in french. Could not figure it out how they make money or if these volunteers have to pay to participate. All Im saying is that for your videos would be useful to include some basic info about this - because both I and Sasha were wondering after seeing the video if you guys had to pay for the training for example.
Psychology is like recycling, you think it is working, but it is not. Never addresses the core problem. So easy to put people into categories and call them "sick". Works well for a livestock society. Best excuse to never touch the system in both cases. Continue recycling...continue labeling people as mentally ill. And let the system survive....
Truth is the opposite. It is this trade-based society that makes people mentally sick, and if we want to change that we have to change the society, not adjust the people to it.
