I went to Bulgaria to join conservation project of Dalmatian pelicans. It's international effort to reduce threats and improve their habitat in Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria & Greece.

The fact that humans have weapons that are meant to kill their own kind, is a sign of primitivism. It is a sign of a failed society. Regardless if they even use them or not.
If we cannot solve conflicts within our human society without killing other humans, then we are a failure. That, in a situation in which we have more than enough resources to provide everyone with whatever they need and most of what they want.

This project started from the observation that distributions, even the simplest to use, do not take into account the overall needs of a very large audience who do not want to have to configure their machine. The proof is that the Install Parties are always full despite the ease of use, and the public, after coming the first time to install the machine, returns for additional installations.

The Emmabuntüs collective adheres to the manifesto of the Emmaus movement , however, to date it is not officially recognized by this movement. Some members of the collective volunteer in Emmaüs communities.
Goal of the project The action of the Emmabuntüs collective goes beyond the creation of a GNU/Linux distribution , the goal that we are pursuing is the establishment of structures to help with the reconditioning of machines for humanitarian associations and to encourage other people to follow our approach to help fight against the following three scourges:
• Poverty among certain segments of the population, by providing new sources of income to humanitarian associations thanks to the sale of these machines • The digital divide in France and in the world, particularly in Africa, by distribution of a supplemented distribution of free data • Waste caused by overconsumption of raw materials, by extending the life of computer equipment
Now fully subtitled into Spanish, making it available to many millions of people who only speak spanish. All thanks to the wonderful Rafa and Vicky, and Cesar.
The amount of work to subtitle such a documentary in a professional way is quite intense and these people are doing it without asking anything in return. That's how we all should be. To do the things we feel are important and not worry about how to survive on this planet.

Actually S. had a lot of issues donating since his Mastercard refused the donation. After weeks of trying to figure out what is the issue he finally went to the bank and asked to allow for European payments. And then it all worked fine.

In the summer I was in a tiny Italian island Lampedusa. It's right next to the Tunisia and it have very important Turtle Rescue Center. Unfortunately it was closed because of the scam of the person who was managing the premises. This video is my story about Daniela and what happened with the rescue center. I was there filming video episode for Equestrio Foundation who was supporting and funding Lampedusas Turte Rescue center for several years. And they kindly allowed me to make and publish my own video about this situation.

We will try to get new creators to our instance videos.trom.tf from now on, because what we lack is content. Everyone flocks to Youtube because "everyone is there" and youtube allows them to make money off of their videos (a very bad incentive). Even the people who complain about how there is no online privacy anymore, and hate ads and data collection (basically hate these online trades and their side effects), are still in a bondage relationship with these monsters. They are enslaved to them. But they and us, have to find the willpower to ditch the old world and create the new one, be it online or offline.
Be brave people, have the guts, and prioritize Peertube over Youtube! Else we cannot change anything....

The diskspace is quite cheap nowadays plus you can host it locally on your computer via Yunohost. We run Peertube plus several other services (nextcloud, matrix, and so forth) via trom.tf with around 40 Euros a month for unlimited bandwidth and some 4TB of SSD storage. We have thousands of videos on our Peertube instance and overall thousands of people use our services
