Too often, critique in digital education is dismissed as negativity or resistance. But what if critique could be something more constructive? What if it was a way of creating rather than simply opposing?
In my latest blog post, I argue that we need to move beyond solutionism and reclaim critique as a generative force. Drawing on Feenberg and Illich, I explore how political pedagogy and design grounded in educational values can open new spaces for imagining what learning could be.

Le couperet est tombé : la dissolution du groupe antifasciste la Jeune Garde a été prononcée ce jeudi 12 juin.
Même si la Jeune Garde a annoncé vouloir déposer un recours devant le conseil d’État, le mal est fait. En dépit de ses nombreux soutiens et de la présence de son ancien porte-parole à l’Assemblée nationale, rien n’a pu dissuader le pouvoir d’aller au bout de cette dissolution.

Ce n’est pas la première attaque contre le mouvement antifasciste mais celle-ci est d’une ampleur nouvelle : la Jeune Garde, c’est plusieurs années d’existence, une implantation dans cinq grandes villes, une organisation qui défile à visage découvert et drapeaux déployés. Cette dissolution est une déclaration de guerre à tous les antifascistes, dans une inversion irréversible des valeurs de l’appareil d’État républicain.
Nous sommes attérré·es mais nous ne sommes pas surpris·es : si l’extrême droite n’a pas encore pris le pouvoir, ses idées, elles, sont déjà au gouvernement. Bruno Retailleau a agi en service commandé par le RN qui portait cette demande depuis des mois. En appuyant cette démarche, il place une épée de Damoclès au-dessus de la tête de toutes les organisations qui engagent ou engageront demain, de manière déterminée et radicale, la lutte pour empêcher l’extrême droite de prendre nos rues, nos quartiers et nos villes.
Bien entendu, nous ne baisserons pas la tête ni les bras, d’autres collectifs fleuriront, d’autres groupes, d’autres réseaux qui continueront à se coordonner, à agir, et à contrer l’extrême droite dans les têtes, les rues et les urnes.
Nous, militant·es communistes libertaires, sommes déterminé·es à faire notre possible pour continuer le combat antifasciste partout où nous sommes, aux côté de nos camarades à qui nous adressons notre entière solidarité.

We found some amazing places to park our motorhome, but one spot was very tricky to get out of. This was the biggest challenge for our Tortuga (motorhome) so far 😁
We also did the laundry again, bought a lot of groceries for our little fridge, and went for a nice hike around the area.
We went to the famous Caminito Del Rey in the South of Spain. But before we had to do the hike, we stopped for a few days in some near-by beautiful places. On particular was very nice, but almost impossible to get out. This was the most challenging for our Tortuga (motorhome) so far. We also did the laundry again, bought some food, and went for a nice walk around the area.

Verdomd interessant onderzoek. De proefpersonen zijn random verdeeld over drie groepen, die allemaal dezelfde opdracht moesten doen. Groep 1: zonder hulpmiddelen Groep 3: met behulp van ChatGPT.
Uitslag: De ChatGPT groep had veel minder hersenactiviteit.
Alsof dat nog niet veelzeggend genoeg is, vroegen ze alle groepen daarna om nog een opdracht te doen, maar nu allemaal zonder ChatGPT.
De mensen die de eerste opdracht met ChatGPT hadden gedaan, vertoonden bij deze laatste opdracht NOG STEEDS minder hersenactiviteit.
Het effect van het gebruik van generatieve AI houdt dus ook nog eens aan!
