Capturing the core of the Milky Way for the first time! With a phone. - videos.trom.tf/w/h4sbDdKroLKuo…
We let the phone capture the night sky for 8 hours straight and managed to capture the Milky Way for the first time ever!
We also sealed all of our motorhome to protect from water infiltration, and overall spent some 5 amazing nights in this beautiful place, Castillo de Setefilla!

Here we took some photos and timelapses of the night sky using an old phone:

This is in Cerro del Hierro, in the Sierra Morena Natural Park. We stayed here for a few days and were able to capture perhaps our most amazing night-sky timelapse. Us, a bench, and the universe. And we explain how you can do this easily (if you have the right software on your phone).
We were also invaded by goats and I went for a small hike between the beautiful rocks.

Ello you lovely Friendos 💜
I've been working on my blog a bit while on my tablet. Now, I should be writing a bit on my PC, but I just want to lay down a bit and watch some telly. Maybe I'll get to the PC after some relaxing... It did feel good to write some for my blog, and I would love to have some more posts lined up in advance, just in case I won't be able to write too much in the first few days after the surgery...
Have a good start of the new week, and still the beginnings of the new month as well! Catch you all later!

Digital Policy is Pedagogy: Why Educators Must Engage
Educational technologies are often introduced as neutral tools. But every platform carries embedded assumptions about teaching, learning, and control.
In my latest blog post, I argue that digital policy is not just an administrative concern. It is deeply pedagogical. If we want technology to serve education rather than shape it, educators must engage at the level of policy and platform design.

A surreal, retro-futuristic illustration of educators navigating a digital landscape shaped by data streams, control panels, and towering abstract systems, symbolising policy as a pedagogical struggle.
