These are the places I love the most. Kinda alone. Nature. Peaceful.

Today we got another Abuse report from the hosting company. I think I am quite sure there was something bad with our server, namely with our Synapse (Matrix) server. It was accessing iPs from outside every second or so. Lots and lots of requests. After investigating we realized we had around 500 guest users. These users do not need an email account/registration to be part of the server. We enabled that a while ago. Bad decision.

We nuked them all today. Now hopefully that was the issue and many of these were bots spamming other Mat

Cirat was such a wonderful place to be in. Close to the mountains and having access to all facilities we needed, made us stay there for 4 days. We just did not want to leave....

You mean how often we do the laundry? We managed to go 3 weeks before doing it, and we did 2 loads basically...in the next video we explain it all. But if you have a lot of underwear and socks :) then you can delay this task :9

And yes there are many laundromats in Spain.

These are the first days on the road for us, and the experience was not the best. We went to Deltebre, a very weird place...we were so happy to move away from it. But we also experienced some nice other places on the way there.

I will patiently wait for a video on monthly expenses living in car vs 1 bedroom apartment in Spain. I have seen such videos on Canada Mexico and the US yet I haven't seen on Spain it could be interesting :)

So far we have not experienced any weather extremes. Well now we have been through a storm and the temperature goes as low as 0 Celsius, almost freezing. But that is rare and only at night. We have a heater that was part of the motorhome and does wonders. It works on propane and since the motorhome is so small it heats it up really well.

For example now outside it feels like 1 Celsius and feels like it is snowing (that kinda of rain in between rain and snow) :), but inside there are around 22 degrees with the heater at half power. Super comfy inside.

For the summer we will probably need to put some vents or even an AC unit.

hm an AC means several things: first you plan to go to very hot areas. Hot areas are usually full of people in Europe. So we avoid that. Second an AC unit will consume a ton of energy....probably from 500 to 1000W. And that is hard to achieve with just solar panels and batteries for a small motorhome like ours. But we will consider for sure....

We are in the south of Spain now and we will take it easy. We drive like 60km every other day, so we can get to see some nice places and relax more.

And as much as I like cool places, I also LOVE to stay somewhere where we have access to water/amenities for the motorhome, where is no one, and is nice enough so I can focus on my computer work!

We here now:

Around Cordoba. We will stay for a few days in this place because there is a storm coming to the entire Spain and there will be lots of rain. So we need a safe place to be in.

We have our batteries quite full, the fridge is full, water infinite, unlimited satellite internet. And now I am working on TROMjaro, will add new stuff to VideoNeat, and will work to make more videos for TROMhome. For me, this is super relaxing. :)

used to pump ours out of a garden sprinkler - smelled kinda bad if it'd been sitting in the tank for awhile.
Solution is sub-surface drip irrigation line made for grey water. Put a couple of filters in prior to the underground pipe to prevent blockages - no smell, no having to move the sprinkler around, green lawn. Using detergent without sodium is important.

The view from our motorhome today:

Yeah I got a headache driving here because it took us 6 hours to also stop buy food, put gas, etc., But man....what a fucking view...

Before this place we stayed in another one, so close to nature. We stayed for 3 days because we liked it so much...

Went for a long hike through the mountains and some waterfalls :)

From tomorrow on we will meet with some of the most wonderful TROM friends in the south-ish of Spain :). So excited to see @Roma and @aaron

Living in a motorhome is no small feat, I don't think I could live this lifestyle even tho I like the idea of being able to travel with your home. Having to deal with water would be my biggest hurdle for sure, I need lots of water lol 😂

I bet Sasha loves it tho, she can finally travel again 😄 And hopefully you can adapt over time let's see..... 🤞

This is the first time I get to "properly" use this space for doing some more hardware and internet intensive work. We live in a motorhome from now on for those who do not know. This is it:

We have 650W of solar panels:

Internet satellite and 2 lithium batteries, each of around 1.000W. The download internet speed is quite good, some 20-30 real Mb per second, but upload max at about 1 ...

So, to download the updates to create the ISO is no problem. To compil

From what I know to "compost" it will take weeks or months, so not practical inside of a motorhome. Perhaps if you dispose your waste in a landfill where it can be "composed".

Some motorhome updates :)

We are getting it ready for our South of Spain adventures, and overall to start the "journey". I managed to seal the entire roof to make sure it is as water proof as possible, we added 2 more solar panels and these days will add one more (so it will be a total of 650W of solar power - huge); and finally we put our satellite internet so we have unlimited internet everywhere basically, allowing me to work on our TROM projects :).

We spend our time near a river, in nature. But have worked pretty much every day on the motorhome. Lots of little things to do.

The view is amazing!

How much food can we store in this tiny 5.5 meters long motorhome? Despite being so small, we can store food for (maybe) weeks in this tiny house. Our fridge is small but actually super spacious, and Sasha managed to organize the food really well and compact 😃. On top of that this is the only motorhome that we've seen with an oven, which is super great!
