Sex becomes a problem when there is frustration. When work, which should be the true expression of our being, becomes merely mechanical, stupid and useless, there is frustration; when our emotional lives, which should be rich and complete, are thwarted through fear, there is frustration; when the mind, which should be alert, pliable, limitless, is weighed down by tradition, self-protective memories, ideals and beliefs, there is frustration. So sex becomes an over-emphasised and unnatural problem. Where there is fulfilment, there are no problems. When you are in love, vulnerably, sex is not a problem. For the one to whom sex is mere sensation, it becomes an urgent problem, eating away at your mind and heart. You will be free from this problem only when, through action, the mind frees itself from all self-imposed limitations, illusions and fears.

Most of our lives are pretty ugly, sordid, miserable and petty. Our existence is a series of conflicts, contradictions, a process of struggle and pain, with fleeting joy and momentary satisfaction. We are bound by so many adjustments, conformities, patterns, and there is never a moment of freedom, never a sense of complete being. There is always frustration because there is always a seeking to fulfil! We have no tranquillity of mind and are always tortured by various demands. To understand all these problems and go beyond them, it is surely necessary to understand the nature of knowledge and the process of the mind.
If we can understand the problem of frustration, we shall have a mentality that is not merely intellectual but an integrated activity. Our religions, our social activities are based on frustration and sorrow. If we can go into this question of frustration, which is really the problem of duality, we may be able, for ourselves as individuals, to come to a creativity that is not a mere capacity or gift but a totally different action.

Governor Polis,
I have seen a report that you are considering commuting the sentence of Tina Peters because it it "harsh". I strongly urge you to not do that. The right to fair and free elections is key to every other liberty we are assured by the Constitution. As such, interfering with that process MUST be seen as tantamount to treason! It strikes at the linchpin of Democracy itself! Seen in that light, a 9 year sentence is exceedingly merciful and just.
Of lesser importance, but still critical in this time of Federal collapse, the Trump administration would see this move as capitulation, as bending the knee. Perhaps you, or some of your advisor think this would serve to avert his ire from Colorado. Do not be fooled by that pipe-dream! Trump is running a Katocracy. They believe that the only law is the alleged "law of the jungle" and force and power are the only legitimate sources of authority. Stephen Miller said it plainly to Jake Tapper on 2026-01-05. I may have the least to fear from these people of anyone I know. Still I am out there in the street protesting at every opportunity, using any privilege I have to defend the rest of us that have more to lose. The Trump administration via ICE showed us all on the 7th what they want to do to us---nay---what they WILL do to us if given the chance. I am out there protesting to have the back of my neighbors, and people like you and your partner. People that Project 2025 is trying to erase from the world. All I ask is that you continue to use your position and power to protect me and other Coloradans from this evil regime.

I must be aware I am suffering, I am in anxiety, in a state of confusion and of fear. To recognise that, transformation is essential; I must not be self-contented. There must be real discontent. It must have a quality which is not mere change. If you see a cobra and know it to be a cobra, you have an instantaneous response. There is a bodily response to the poisonous snake, and you jump. It is not out of fear that you avoid it, but the understanding of the nature of the poison keeps you away.
