TROM Office will be removed from trom.tf/ towards the end of this year. This is a Cryptpad instance and here are the reasons:
1. We already provide a full Office Suite via TROM Files that is far better than the one provided by Cryptpad.
2. Sure, you need an account for TROM Files, but if you want a quick way to create a document we already have TROM Text.
3. We also have TROM Sketch in case you want to draw.
Therefore Cryptpad was not adding anything new. The last drop that filled the glass of decisions was that Cryptpad is offensively aggressive in the way that they inject the donate buttons in the app itself. Popups, multiple buttons, and so forth. Totally understandable that these projects need financial support but this way of asking for support is way too aggressive. On top of that they are changing the design of their service quite a lot and it is quite difficult to customize it, so every update breaks our clean TROM design.
Therefore no more Cryptpad.
Do not worry, it will be around for many months from now on, but it will not be visible from our main TROM page.

Just so everyone knows, boobs and genitalia are not bad. They can cause a lot of pleasure. Penises too. And overall the naked human body.

That was a video from @toplesstopics and its not even porn, like its just a video of her talking about a photoshoot she did which contained some artistic nudity. I don't understand why people are so afraid of human skin, no one's forcing them to watch.
That being said, if videos from an account is showing up even after banning then that's probably a bug that needs to be reported to #Peertube. Asking the admin of another instance to take the video out is not the way to solve this issue.

Your peertube instance is one of the incredible minority of platforms online, big and small, that allows nonsexual nudity but NOT porn and NOT violence and hatespeech...until that someday-maybe idyllic future where major corps decide it's more profitable to support progressive causes like gender-equal anti-censorship instead of making superstars out of right-wing hatemongers, I will be forever grateful to you for giving me a "safe space" to upload my heinous nonsexual female nipples to!

Before the TROM II documentary will be released we will do a cleanup for tromsite.com. For example there are a few books that are outdated or not relevant/factual anymore and they will be removed. We will make this all public. Or our quizzes and other tools that are not relevant anymore, will be removed.
We need to keep TROM up to date and relevant. No point in dragging outdated materials/tools.

All of the "shorts" videos from our tromnews.com/videos/ are now extinct! No more shorts. These videos, the shorts, are a byproduct of a trade-insanity where humans are obsessed to do whatever it takes to grab more attention. Because they can trade that for other things. In this case the traders are hopping on a train brought by the TikTok ad company and emulated by Youtube ad company.
These "shorts" videos were ruining our entire video section. So we had to manually fix this for every source. And should be fixed from now on for good.

In a trade-based society it mainly, of not entirely, matters what's the value of a trade. If you can trade it, you have the go ahead. If it is not profitable to trade it or you cannot trade it, then it does not have any value.
We should be able to design a better society where the incentive is to help others, progress, protect, discover, rather than a mindless "trade trade trade".

VideoNeat is up again! The theme was very old and not updated in years so it was not working properly and we were unable to update the whole website for some time now. We finally changed the theme and redesigned the entire website. It looks quite similar to how it was before, but probably a bit more functional now.
Mind you it is not optimized for mobile phones and it won't be for some time. It is not a priority for now. Only after the TROM II documentary is released we can do that. But regardless this website is not meant for such tiny screens anyway. And most mobile phones can't even properly support the Bittorrent network that VN uses.
Also we need some 50 more euros for our campaign to pay for the backups for VN and all other websites. Please help if you can tromsite.com/fundraiser/ we have to pay in less than a week.

@tio Wow that's such a big difference between your screenshot and mine, if you look carefully you'll notice that in mine the pictures look almost square instead of being rectangle shaped. I tried zooming out and it worked, so for now I can use this trick.
Also did you get COVID from going to the dentist? wishing you a quick recovery
