It did feel good to write some for my blog, and I would love to have some more posts lined up in advance, just in case I won't be able to write too much in the first few days after the surgery...

I'm using Raccoon for Friendica, and sometimes I miss the alt text logo on images. Raccoon doesn't warn me when I try to boost something without alt text. I always try to boost things that include alt texts. So I apologize if I miss it and sometimes boost things without it.
Although I don't really check the quality of the alt texts as my spoons are low... 😔

We found a super nice motorhome area with services (including electricity) for 6 euros/night, but getting out of there was a bit tricky:

The best paid parking? And can we get out?
Fuente De was a surprisingly good paid parking. Just 6 euros for parking, water, and electricity. But when we tried to get out we realized that the only way out was uphill and near a big hole that was not there when we parked. It was really difficult to get the motorhome out of there... But we really liked that place in terms of motorhome parking.

I just wanted to share some photos of my #garden after the rain. A #rewilded lawn, some #vegetablegarden pictures, a (still drying) pond, a young pear tree and a very young #tea tree surrounded by daylilies and goutweed. All mulched, sheltered with a #hedge and watered and fed by ash trees and Judas'trees.
The lawn itself is a young #orchard in progress, a young olive tree can be seen above the grasses and you might spot a persimmon behind the pink lupin.
I have a little #question about the Judas'trees : I have learned their seed pods are #edible, but if you are used to #foraging which recipe do you use for #cooking them ?

I did a little googling and found the EU has been questioning the partnership for a while.

Untill we finally get some big european tech that is capable of preventing child abuse and the such like palentr we cannot just quit using USA big tech.
I believe we should invest on an EU level into European tech firms and prevent acquisition by American companies. Comparable to how ASML was helped by the Dutch government to develop their tech.

Dat zijn maatregelen die te breed zijn.
Palantr is door zijn samenwerking met Amerikaanse geheime dienst nou eenmaal goed in het opsporen en vinden van zulke criminelen.
Ik zou ook liever een Europees bedrijf zien die met Interpol en andere Europese organisaties samenwerkt voor een vergelijkbaar systeem.

Unknown parent • •Tja, als een organisatie veel (terechte) flak krijgt voor een samenwerking, gaan ze natuurlijk niet elke maand de pers opzoeken om te vertellen dat ze nog steeds samenwerken. Je kunt dat beter omdraaien: Gaia-X heeft wel de pers opgezocht om te zeggen dat die samenwerking er wel is maar dat Palantir echt heus aan allerlei regels moet voldoen en geen invloed op de besluitvorming zou hebben enz, maar nooit om te zeggen dat de samenwerking gestopt is.
De samenwerking is er volgens mij nog steeds, direct en indirect. Indirect oa via Airbus Skywise
