On 26th of August, 2023, we presented TROM at the annual ZDay event in Prague. This was the last ZDay after a decade long of making them every year.
Our presentation was focused on showcasing in a unique way how our society works and how trade is at the core of most of our issues. In the second half we focused on the positive side: how we and others create trade-free good and services and why this can become a tsunami movement if more of us engage into it, in a decentralized way.
We put a lot of effort into creating a simple narrative and interesting slides with animations, to make it all more fun and easy to understand.
This was the first presentation for Tio and we hope more to follow.

We will work on the presentation recordings these days and we will make it available soon. These past 2 days were really amazing and have spark new friendships and relationships, and new ideas about what we can do in the future. We may even do a Trade-Free Yearly event, but let's see, it is a raw and wild idea now. #tromlive

Tomorrow we are at ZDay in Prague. Tio will present TROM with the focus on why trade is the origin of most problems and why creating trade-free goods and services is so crucial.

TROM II is now fully translated into Romanian thanks to @Georgi who worked like crazy for the past months to do it.
It is particularly difficult to translate into Romanian because this language comes in 2 main flavors: the official language and the language that people normally speak. And there can be a big difference between the two.
Georgi tried as much as possible to translate in a way that people talk and not in this official robot-like way. She used Kdenlive for the entire translation process.
TROM II: A Message to the Aliens Year: 2023ย ย /ย ย Duration: 4 parts, 5 hours We live in a world where everyone is busy, everyone is consumed, everyone seems confused. Money, social credits, ads, data collection, prices and billionaires.
I kinda finished the presentation for ZDay! :) Am happy with it. Around 40 minutes long and I tried to make it fun and interesting and put things in a different perspective from what I did in our previous TROM materials. So even those familiar with TROM may find it, I hope, interesting.
75 slides, and a lot of animated stuff :). I LOVE LibreOffice Presentations. Trade-Free software at its best. You can make some really cool presentations with it.
Half the talk will be about what our society is made of. You know, trade...and how it influences everything. The other half is about our trade-free approach. I will also explain The Fediverse, will talk about TROMjaro and our other tools.
These days I need to get ready for the trip. How awesome that I now have a good laptop that I can take with me, thanks mostly to Roma and Gui who donated money so that I can buy it. I definitely use it mostly for TROM.

It is meant to invite people from all around the world to present similar ideas to those that Zeitgeist stands behind. TROM started soon after the Zeitgeist Movement sparked into existence as the activism arm of The Venus Project. Our views are very similar and we are heading towards the same direction.
TZM will stop organizing these ZDay events because it tries to decentralize itself. So this will be the last ZDay, therefore I thought it would be a shame to never have participated in this event, so I contacted the organizers and asked if I can come. The event will be in Prague at the Spojka Karlรญn Events on 26th this month. It will start on 12:00 and end at 18:00. My talk will be called "How to Grow a Saner Society. A Lifetime Adventure." and I will try to keep it more positive. I will talk about our trade-free approach, the TROM.tf project, and a lot more. But I will try to put it all in a new unique perspective. The talk will be 30-40 minutes long and it will be recorded. We will upload it to our Peertube whenever it will be available.

This is a big and important update for TROMjaro, and we made so many little changes that I can only highlight the most noticeable ones. In essence, I want TROMjaro to be very user friendly from the get go.

In May I joined Protest - Educative camp "Save Komarnica" in Montenegro. Komarnica is a wild river which is under a threat of hydro power plant. If it will be build it will destroy the river, local ecosystem, many species will go extinct and also it will block migration routes for the fish. It also will bring only tiny amount of electricity.
