TROM II is now fully translated into Romanian thanks to @Georgi who worked like crazy for the past months to do it.
It is particularly difficult to translate into Romanian because this language comes in 2 main flavors: the official language and the language that people normally speak. And there can be a big difference between the two.
Georgi tried as much as possible to translate in a way that people talk and not in this official robot-like way. She used Kdenlive for the entire translation process.

I kinda finished the presentation for ZDay! :) Am happy with it. Around 40 minutes long and I tried to make it fun and interesting and put things in a different perspective from what I did in our previous TROM materials. So even those familiar with TROM may find it, I hope, interesting.
75 slides, and a lot of animated stuff :). I LOVE LibreOffice Presentations. Trade-Free software at its best. You can make some really cool presentations with it.
Half the talk will be about what our society is made of. You know, trade...and how it influences everything. The other half is about our trade-free approach. I will also explain The Fediverse, will talk about TROMjaro and our other tools.
These days I need to get ready for the trip. How awesome that I now have a good laptop that I can take with me, thanks mostly to Roma and Gui who donated money so that I can buy it. I definitely use it mostly for TROM.

The event will be in Prague at the Spojka Karlín Events on 26th this month. It will start on 12:00 and end at 18:00. My talk will be called "How to Grow a Saner Society. A Lifetime Adventure." and I will try to keep it more positive. I will talk about our trade-free approach, the TROM.tf project, and a lot more. But I will try to put it all in a new unique perspective. The talk will be 30-40 minutes long and it will be recorded. We will upload it to our Peertube whenever it will be available.

This is a big and important update for TROMjaro, and we made so many little changes that I can only highlight the most noticeable ones. In essence, I want TROMjaro to be very user friendly from the get go.

In May I joined Protest - Educative camp "Save Komarnica" in Montenegro. Komarnica is a wild river which is under a threat of hydro power plant. If it will be build it will destroy the river, local ecosystem, many species will go extinct and also it will block migration routes for the fish. It also will bring only tiny amount of electricity.

People think that Musk, Bezos, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so on are now the "evil" that we should stand against and defeat. In truth these entities are no different from most humans living on this planet and most companies. It is just that some are bigger players, some are smaller.
When Bezos launched his small business in the early 1990 he was praised for making books available for more people.
But look at where he is now with Amazon.com.

"Regulating" Facebook, Amazon, Google and the like it's like plastic recycling. You give the false impression that it works, and you continue to do this, while more plastic is being wasted than ever before, and more billionaires and corrupted people are being created than ever before.
Unless we calm down and dedicate some time to understand that these problems (corporations, climate change, corruption, influence, billionaires, etc.) are HUMANS, and human behavior comes from the ENVIRONMENT, and the environment is that of TRADING, unless we understand that, nothing will ever change. Period.
You can chop the heads of Musk and Bezos, you can destroy Google, Amazon and Facebook, and then realize that absolutely nothing has changed. New billionaires and new monopolistic corporations will evolve out of the same trade-environment.
What can we do?
Provide humans with at least their basic needs as trade-free.
Humans NEED to have access to a decent life, without having to trade anything in return for this. We need calm, relaxed, and educated humans, in order to do anything more than that. There are no plants growing out of a soil that has no nutrients, moisture, and such conditions.
We need to make people understand that life is not about consuming more shit, but about enjoying the nature, discover, learn, explore. We need to make companies and billionaires obsolete. Because what Google and the like fear the most is not the competition (because they can buy that), but becoming irrelevant. When people do not see any value in what they "sell", in what they "do".
If only there was a documentary explaining all of these in great detail....

This makes me wonder how many small businesses there are today that are being praised by everyone, people only seem to notice the problem with these businesses when they get too big, not realizing that if you kill one big business then there are hundreds if not thousands ready to replace that one.

Right on point here, we should try to create a world where we don't have to rely on any kind of businesses to get our things done, instead of replacing one business with another.
