We are searching for a good motorhome in Europe to buy. Second hand of course, and around 20-24 years old. It is what we can afford. Luckily we may have found one! 😃
Thanks Dima! Yah it is an old car but we will have some savings specifically for these kind of issues since there will be issues with the engine or other parts.
You seem very happy and excited talking about these plans, glad to see that 🙂 I hope everything goes well and wish for this to be a new chapter in your life :)
The motorhome we are looking to buy is maybe a bit bigger than that pickup truck in the photo haha. Even if someone would give me that motorhome and it won't be an issue driving or parking it, I would sell it day one and buy a "normal" motorhome.
It is simply insane to me how in US people don't look at this and laugh or be shocked. That is a fucking train.
I think we found THE motorhome :D - maybe the perfect one for us :)
I'll give you more info but we need to deal with the buying of it these days. We negotiated it for 18.000 which is really great for us. We still dont have all the money so we have to borrow some. After we buy it we will be so broke it will be funny. .)) But yah, we will do it. TROMhome - tromhome.com/

By @Dima : I was taking a part in Alvar grassland restoration camp in Estonia. Which was happening on a tiny island of Kesselaid. Alavar is a very rare and unique biological environment which support large biodiversity of plants and insects.

This is our new, and kinda personal, project tromhome.com/
Although it is also about TROM.
This will be our home and it will take us to many new places, meeting many new people and projects. We will talk to people about TROM, try to organize talks and meetings, volunteer for all sorts of trade-free projects, and make videos about all of our adventures.
Ok tomorrow I'll release our TROM Home project :P - lots of things to do these next few weeks. For one I'll go see 2 motorhomes in Barcelona this week. At the same time I will start to make videos for this new project, but also keep up everything TROM related up to date and functional. I have kinda finished another 1h 40 min video with me ranting about this world haha. Recorded in 2022 after we finished TROM II. I will release that one too.
My broken finger is healing, the tourists are going home finally so we can start to get some quieter time, and I am obsessed over motorhomes: power systems: powerbanks, solar panels, energy consumption....water tanks, how to deal with a motorhome, where to go, what-not. All of these will coalesce into the video series I'll start for TROM Home.
Oh these days I've red this crazy news about the discovery that humans can breath through their asses....wtf haha. Couldn't help but mentioning this. I love tromnews.com I use that website daily.
Oh yah man it is a house on wheels, and the ones we want are not that big really. You'll see we will make videos about them. You have a kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a bed, desk....everything :D
haha so you knew about the ass breathing. that's crazy
I aim to release the TROMhome project this next week. Finished the website. Created a new Peertube channel, and a draft for the fundraiser. Hope to also make a video about it. And yeah let's do it :D - we do not have enough money for it all, but close to that. We shall start to make videos starting this next week. We will share the links these days :)
Crazy documentary and so tragic. You know people say: if it wasn't for money how would you motivate people to do things? Well watch these motherfuckers risking their lives for others. Humans can be motivated by so many things, and money should be the most irrelevant of the motivators.
Courage, love and loss. Young people risk their lives with self-funded missions to rescue families in Ukraine’s frontline towns. Told through their own words and unique first-person footage.
Thank you Miguel for becoming our new 5 Euros a month supporter ! tromsite.com/donate/ - it seems like we are stagnating at 84 supporters, but it is because some may cancel their subscription or the fact that we count the Liberapay and Patreon money as "people" - divide the amount by 5. And that amount may vary from month to month.
TROM is still far from reaching its goal, but we are still somehow keeping our projects alive. Please support if you can.
