Look at peak retardation ytb.trom.tf/watch?v=9Puu3IlhtZ… - humans playing some retarded silly games on their phones, to earn some cryptocurrency, to then be able to buy some real stuff. This is real!

This is what happens when humans really believe that we have to always trade....there is no other way of distributing the amounts of waste or the abundance of shit we have produced...NAH. Better make humans do any fucking silly thing, to engage in trading, so that they can make it in this world.

Tellin' you again: trade is the origin of most problems. It is a religion. #tromlive

So the next TROMjaro ISO will ship with some new cool things like a Theme Switcher, a simple app to send files without limits via p2p to anyone, an app to control other desktops from your own (like teamviewer but trade-free), a calendar with to-dos and alarms and events and such.....part of XFCE....and a few improvements.

These days I will have some time for TROM and its baby projects. #tromlive

Here's a video demo of our Theme Switcher in action with 3 different sort of apps: Gnome (GTK) with or without libadwaita, QT, and XFCE's own apps.

Work in progress:

TROMjaro's new Theme Switcher - dark/light + 10 color schemes for each. Besides it is our Layout Switcher. @Rokosun is the one helping with the technical side of this. So far from our tests it works great. A few inconsistencies here and there but overall it is awesome! #tromlive

Soon we will add a Theme Switch to TROMjaro :)

You will be able to click any color combination from the list and change your theme based on the color accent and dark/light mode. And unlike Pop OS, Deepin, Ubuntu, Gnome and the like, our Theme Switch changes the theme for some 90% of all apps out there, compared to some 10-20% for these other distros.

Stay tuned! #tromlive

I hope Peertube will allow us, the admins, to stop people from uploading 2k or 4k videos, also at 60fps...like...this is overkill. Unless you have a 4k screen and have filmed with a proper, thousands of euros camera, there is no difference between that and a full HD video, especially when it gets super compressed on any hosting platform. It is unreasonable to have a 3 minute video be 1GB in size. It is insanity. Especially for free Peertube instances hosted through donations....

I will open a Peertube request for that if there isn't any....

One thing about the fediverse is that there are many people who post in at least 2 languages. So my newsfeed is flooded with gibberish I can't understand, making me less motivated to use that. I can ignore these people but I'd rather not. It is also that Friendica's Language filter does not work anymore for me. So if that's fixed then it is better, although you still see collapsed posts. Maybe would be nice to have a way to remove them entirely.

In any case it is a very odd situation to see so many people posting in both english and their main language. Usually it is English + German or English + Spanish.

This is a lot to swallow for us considering we are so busy these months with "trading to survive". I do see value in this approach and I would be so happy and engaged if I were to be helped in this regards. If there was someone out there helping us to get to such projects. If someone can help us maybe write some papers about the negative impacts of trade and the positive ones of the trade-free approach. So if you can give us more details about this and a direction then we can try it in a few months time. I definitely plan to become louder and try different approaches as soon as I release the TROM II documentary that can on its own be a way to reach higher.

My Twitter will transform from a Zombie account to an active one, thanks to the power of the social network I use: Friendica. Anyone who registers with social.trom.tf/ can connect with their twitter + with millions of others on the fediverse. My posts and replies will go to Twitter too.
