Our dreams and memories have collapsed with it, and we now live among the rubble without proper shelter or basic needs.

It appears one or more impersonators have already registered some of the #Android applications that I maintained, including @appmanager. I've reported this to #Google, but not sure what's going to happen. The Android developer verification is still in beta, and it doesn't have a lot of features now to deal with this kind of problems.

Another reason to hate #Apple We're seeing more 2018+ MacBook Pro/Air donations — but Apple's T2 chip means even after iCloud sign-out and reset, the firmware stays locked to the original account.

Without donor contact, these machines are useless. :(

I've upcycled ~1,000 older Macs, but T2 era machines will end that. It's controlling, creates e-waste, and will only get worse. #righttorepair matters — Apple couldn't care less.

@Aaron @argv_minus_one @bigzaphod of course its complicated.. But I think apple is partially responsible here because.

1. They really dont make it clear to the average user how to "release" the device before selling or giving it away. Feels like they're purposely making it hard.

2. The device remains locked even if the original owner removes the device from their apple account. There should be a workflow so a user can release the device remotely after the fact.
